Rule 1: Before you ask your question, you must check the FAQ's which are stated below BEFORE you post your question.
Rule 2: Search the tutorial section for a tutorial before asking for help on how to do something.
Rule 3: There is NO FLAMING at all toward the person asking the question.
Rule 4: No posting multiple topics about the same question. Stick to one topic to get the full answer to your question.
Rule 5: There is no spamming allowed on this forum. If you are caught spamming, your post will be edited and if you continue it may result in a ban.
Rule 6: There is no advertising allowed in this forum. If you are caught, you will get your post edited and may result also in a ban.
Rule 7: Stay on topic. If you start posting stuff that would belong in other forums, we will move the topic to where it belongs. If you continue to, you may get a day ban or two.
Rule 8: Make sure that you use the search button if you could not find any tutorials or if the FAQs could not answer your question.

Below, is the Frequently Asked Questions & Answers portion of this thread. It will help you with questions that are frequently ran into. Please read this over before you post your questions. This list will be updated whenever a new error that is obvious to fix occurs.
Q1: What is a private server?
A1: A private server is a remake of the Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing game. You can edit the game and make it to your likeing. You can edit the NPC's, the XP Rate, and anything you would like.
Q2: How come MoparScape Client doesn't work?
A2: You need to download Java and install it.
If you have it then re install your client or re download the installer.
If that still doesn't work then go to
http://www.moparscape.org/cache/cache.zipthen extract it to C:\.mpr_file_store_32
then try running it again.
Q3: What is JDK?
A3: JDK is a compiler well it allows you to compile your server.
Without it a hand made client may not work.
So if you get in to RS2 Private Servers make sure you download it.

A4: NO IT AINT THAT Seems like everytime some one posts this you either get a respond like for example:

127.0.0.1 is not your ip well not your internet ip
you will need hamachi or no-ip
Q5: Is RuneScape Private Server Considered illegal?
A5: No, It is not considered Illegal, Since we have started to make our private servers from scratch like they did.
All we did was use their Cache [Which has textures objects etc]
And because we did not use the name [RUNESCAPE] over again and we would give credits if jagex wanted but i still think its legal other wise cops woulda been at your house
Q8: When I try to log into MoparScape, it says I am already logged in.
A8: This means that the server you are trying to connect to suddenly logged you off. It still thinks that you are on. Either restart the client and try again to log in. Or ask the owner to restart the server which should log your guy off.
Q9: When I try to log into MoparScape, it says "Error connecting to server, hit cancel and start server"?
A9: This simply means that the server that you are trying to connect to is down. Try going to the Server Status List and getting a different server ip. So don't worry. Just keep trying and you will get on one of them eventually.
Q10: Can I edit HybridScape?
A10: No you cannot edit HybridScape because it is built into MoparScape. There is no compile.bat or client.java. HybridScape is for playing alone by yourself. No you cannot edit it. To get an server that you can edit, download any server from the Download's Section.
Q11: How come I can't Eat food?
A11: THEIR STUFFED [lol] Or their not equipped with a weapon
You can only eat if your equipped with weapon or certain piece of armor... Or it may be lag.
